There is no better example of 'you cannot please all the people all the time' with regards to the rough on the course.
As our Head Greenkeeper has mentioned in reports, the development of the fescue rough is work in progress, and the damp and humid weather has not helped with this.
There has been many comments about how fantastic our course is, but admittedly there has been the odd comment about the rough but when one complaint was that "I cannot hit my wood out the rough", it may not be the rough that's the issue?
Lessons are available on how to drive straighter or play out of the rough.
