Congratulations to the prize winners at last Friday's Presentation Night. It is always a great display when the trophies are all lined up ready, and thankfully there were no dropped trophies during the evening..

In addition to congratulating the winners, a special mention must go to our Competition 'Chairs' Peter Bullivant and Vanessa Hart who have done a great job all year looking after the numerous events with the help of their respective committees.

As mentioned in previous newsletters the evening is a fantastic advert for our services and the fact that over 90% of winners used our services is a statistic we take great pride in broadcasting.

  

 

This week has seen the start of turfing the new bunkers and the work done so far looks absolutely fantastic. Many thanks to those members who kindly helped too. We also had our Bar Manager Andy involved and it's great to see he can lay turf as well as he pulls a pint..

With a combination of wet conditions underfoot and the threat of frost please make sure you check the grip of your shoes before you next play. If they are returned to the Pro shop we will pass them back to their owners, but we will mention in our newsletters where the balls were found. Could have some fun with that idea...

Despite the huge rainfall that came down on Friday night the course was still open on Saturday for the double shotgun Turkey Trot.

Many congratulations to Stephen Andrew winning the morning event with 39 points and congratulation to Jack Robinson winning the Men's afternoon event with 45 points and Vanessa Hart the Ladies with 43 points.
