The 4 club competition on Saturday proved to be great fun. Whilst many gave their club selection careful consideration we even had some members having a game during the week using only 4 clubs as practice!
Many congratulations to Stephen Ward whose great score of 41 points was just enough to edge out Mark Benton, Steve Robertson and Paul Walters who all scored a credible 40 points.
I wonder how many clubs they will be using in the next competition on Saturday, 4 February?

Coaching Tip
Your posture in your set up has a huge influence in your golf swing and can easily be neglected. It often surprises pupils how improvements in their posture can have a dramatic effect on their swing.
It was fantastic to see nearly 50 ladies play in the 4team competition on Tuesday despite the very cold foggy conditions. Well done to Carolyn Francis, Elaine Hulley, Pat Murphy & Jill Irwin on winning the event with their great score of 56 points over the 12 holes.
