Round up Fortunately there has been no disruptions to play this week despite lots of rainfall. The fact that the course has remained open is further testimony that the work done previously has helped enormously. Further work will be carried out in the future to help the course cope with the intense rainfall we seem to get more often these days! In amongst the busy day-to-day proceedings with members and visitors there has been a couple of the knock-out finals played this week.
Congratulations to Tom George and mum June who triumphed over Iain and Joanne Glen in the MacKinlay Final.
The Wilson Bowl final has also been played involving Ryan Diuga and Alasdair Nicholl. They had a great and close game with Ryan winning on the 36th hole. Congratulations Ryan .
With slow play being a hot topic of conversation it was interesting to see that Ryan and Alasdair had played their 36 holes by 1pm last Sunday!
