10th year It is hard to believe but this year will be my 10th Year working here at York GC. During this time, it has been great to see so much momentum gather within the club with superb improvements on the course, introduction of the driving range and other facilities and clubhouse refurbishment all of which cumulating in a very buoyant and energetic membership.
Over the coming weeks we will be giving details of many great events and activities planned for the year ahead but a date to certainly be aware of is Sunday, 13 May – Our Professionals day event!
Since its introduction in 2016 this event has been a great success with over 40 teams taking part and over £3000 worth of prizes on offer. Whilst we are at the final stages of confirming prizes for our 10th Anniversary year, you can rest assured that this year will be the best ever! The format will remain the same – AmAm which also includes a meal for every competitor and 3 x balls. Teams are open to members or members bringing guests and teams can be any combination of Men, Ladies or both.
