Busy Week of Competitions It has been a busy few days with various competitions and looking through all the results it is absolutely wonderful to see so many members achieve great results after either lessons or fittings (or both!) The Royal Signals on Saturday had a great entry as always and many congratulations to Gordon Laing whose great score of 42 points secured victory. It is clear that Gordon is enjoying his new fitted Ping G400 woods along with ‘TJ’s tips’ but I’m sure Gordon will be the first to admit that having also recently converted to using an electric trolley has also made a huge difference too ! Very well done Gordon. It also looks like the numerous hours Alan Barrass has spent on the range has paid off as it was great to see his score of 40 points – on a serious note those numerous hours are actually working on the range not practising ! As always your efforts on the range are much appreciated Alan Click here for the full results
Ladies Medal Congratulations to Christine Ivel on winning the Ladies Medal on Sunday and continuing her great season. Click here for the results.
The Veterans Cup The Veterans Cup on Monday had a great entry on Monday. After his wife Delia showed the ‘younger’ seniors how to do it by winning the Hindmarsh Trophy last month it appears that Trevor Bailey was keen to show the younger seniors a thing or too also ! Very well done Trevor – fantastic achievement with you both winning these events. Click here for the full Veterans Cup results.
More Great Results Onto Tuesday and more great results from pupils with Barbara Webster winning the 9 hole Ladies Stableford and Gay Enos winning the medal with her great score of 71 narrowly edging Ladies Comp Sec Collette Watson into runners up with a back 9 decision. Very well done Ladies.
