The nights may be pulling in but it has not dampened the enthusiasm around here!! September was an amazing month for the club with lots of members playing and a record month for green fees also, and there are no signs of any slowing down!
All of this continues to show what great momentum is within the club as we approach our 125th Anniversary year in 2015. The excitement regarding the first phase of the Course Development Plan is tremendous with positive comments coming in all the time. What is also interesting is how complimentary our visitors are about the changes!

We have been lucky enough to have a sneak peak of these and they look superb. As you all know looks play a part, but it is also about the performance of the product. This is where it gets exciting as these irons have a completely new concept in their design.

In addition to our usual one-to-one sessions available, TJ has some news of some short game group sessions coming up:
The short game clinic is an opportunity for people of all abilities to get a true idea of what to concentrate their practice time on. It is a series of 15 skills test to identify each individual's top 5 weaknesses.
I then split the group into everyone's individual weaknesses and give help and instruction on the skill you are weakest at. After working on the specific skill you are guaranteed to see an improvement in both technique and skill level. It is an amazing opportunity so please book soon as places are filling up fast.
The Ladies clinic is on Thursday, 30 October and the gents is on Sunday, 9 November.

For those sceptics who did not believe me when I said I also ventured on the treadmill in aid of charity at Harrogate last week, it appears TJ took a sneaky picture of me!!!
As you will see I was going so fast the picture is a blur, and according to Sky Sports News Usain Bolt has started putting in extra training hours having heard about my exploits!!!!
