Pro Shop Event

Many thanks to everyone who has entered our ProShop event this coming Friday.

Support is greatly appreciated and we have £1500+ worth of prizes on offer with takeaway food and drink included from the Half Way House for each competitor too.

There are still a handful of times still available for anyone still looking to play and there are also some slots available should you wish to join others to make up a team.

The event is a fun AmAm format with any 2 scores from the team of 4 to count and teams can be any mix of Men or Ladies or guests too.

Before teeing off each competitor will have a go in a nearest the pin competition in our Trackman Studio ( in line with Covid restrictions it will be one person at a time and a face mask will be required. )

Popov and DJ in leagues of their own

There are sporting shocks, and then there’s the World No. 304 winning a Major! Germany’s Sophia Popov finished on -7 at Royal Troon to claim victory at the AIG Women’s Open. Despite having never won on the LPGA or Ladies European Tour before, the 27-year-old fought off challenges from stars like World No. 8 Minjee Lee and seven-time Major Champion Inbee Park.

Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson won The Northern Trust, the first FedEx Cup playoff event, by shooting a staggering -30. That ended up being an 11-stroke victory, which raises the age-old question of what’s more entertaining:
