Where did the last 7 days go since I was writing last week's newsletter?

It is often said that time goes quicker as you get older, but I like to think it is down to how busy you are keeping us rather than I'm getting older!!!

As you have been reading in previous newsletters, we are determined to make this your best year ever and it appears many of you are willing to let us help you achieve this goal. Both TJ and I have been busy with a combination of fittings and lessons and we are confident that we have lots of newsletter material coming soon about success stories so be warned!

Whilst TJ and I have been out on the range, Steve has been busy taking numerous deliveries in the pro shop. The constant stream of deliveries this time of year is always great fun to unpack, although Steve did not think this was the case when one box was a new shop fitting stand which needed assembling!

Our latest match in this popular event was played on Wednesday against Derek Satterthwaite & Richard Masefield. After hitting my second shot to gimmie distance on the first for a half, it became clear that yet again our opponents had brought their "A" game!

A fantastic game followed which was close all the way, although admittedly it was always in our opponents favour. We managed to choose the 17th to take the lead for the first time and then hang on to it to finish the match 1 up.

Our first "Get-into-Golf" session was held on Thursday which was a great success and enjoyed by all those who attended.
